Tonight a bunch Zaadzsters in the DC area went to go see Peaceful Warrior at Landmark E-Street theater. Before the show some of us went out for dinner to Ella's. It was really good, check out the Wild Mushroom Pizza, very tasty. (They can make any pizza with soy cheese). After the movie we went next door for ice cream and sorbet at Giffords to discuss the movie.
The movie was inspiring to say the least. I loved the way it showcased the relationship between a teacher and their student. It showed how the ups and downs of a spiritual path and the effects and assistance that can be gained when a strong teacher is guiding you. A student's pride and arrogance must dissolve when when putting their faith in a teacher. It is pride and arrogance, and attachment that does not allow the student to grow and see the world in all its beauty and splendor.

Though i wasn’t there to enjoy all of your company, I’d like to say THANKS! for getting the ball rolling with Zaadz, by meeting “strangers” to see a rewarding movie. You’re great.
P.S. I’ve been thinking about Taoism since I discovered it through you. Hopefully I’ll actually put a book up about it. I’ll let you know if I do!
